NYC ......Rockefeller and other sites

Rockefeller Center

Right now this is a restaurant but in the wintertime it is the ice skating rink.
During Christmas, this is where the huge tree goes.

Across from the Rockefeller Center, they were having the grand opening for the Lego store. Anybody could help build a big apple with legos.

It is truly amazing to see what people can build with a lot of time and a lot of legos.

and look there is one of those geniuses now

Other sites

These were tiles that a local elementary school painted and hung for the injured from  911 to see. They were staying in a hospital across the street. Next year these will no longer be here. They are taking them down and putting in a museum so they can build yet another building.

ChinaTown

The Trump Building
It would cost you a pretty penny to live in here.

This is the famous Wall St bull from the movie Hitch. Guess what?? This bull is for sale. Any takers??? The catch......you have to leave it exactly where it is at. If you notice, the front of the bull is lighter than the back. That is from people rubbing it for good luck.

I know this picture is hard to see but does anyone know what it is??

Where the Today Show is taped.

Too bad we could not have arrived at 7 am to witness a show.

Our tour guide asked Laney to say, " Does anyone need to get off?" I guess she found the one shy bone in her body because she would not say it.

On the way back to Grand Central Station we stopped through Time Square one last time to see it at night. You definitely must see NYC during the day and at night. You think it is busy during the day just wait until the sun goes down.

We had a blast in NYC!
I can't wait to go back but next time I think I will leave the kids at home and take my hubby!
