I thought I would share a little of what we are learning about right now at our homeschool. For the next few weeks we will do a unit on Christmas Around the World. Each week we will look at a country/place and learn how they celebrate Christmas. I decided to do this unit because we are going to Helen, Ga the week before Christmas. We are planning to do Germany the week we are there( field trip!). This week we started with Mexico. We are making a lapbook for this unit which will include plants at Christmas time, recipes, songs, traditions, etc for each country. We made a Santa pinata. The girls made an Mexican ornament to go on there school Christmas tree.
Sounds and looks like fun! Where did you get the idea? Share the link please? Thanks! Hope you all are doing well!
ReplyDeleteI got it from www.homeschoolshare.com/lapbook. Click on the multi-age and you will see Christmas around the world. I wish I could do all of them. We are good. We should get together for lunch one day.
