I love neighbors!
Everywhere we have lived, we have been blessed with such wonderful neighbors. We still keep in touch with many of them.
I have not been able to do much baking this year due to work, basketball, traveling and company. No problem when you have neighbors!
I am sure you can guess what we gave everyone. I have been working on it for 6 months.
Homemade Vanilla Extract
I found these cute bottles at Hobby Lobby.
I hope you enjoy your neighbors as much as we do!

Cookie Swap
I had my annual Christmas Cookie Swap here last week. I was WOWED by the turnout! I think I decided I need to knockout a wall before next year. We had a fun filled night with lots of fellowship, food, games and none the less..........cookies!
We even had some sitting in the chairs.
This year I made Peanut Butter Bars.
They were quick, easy and yummy!

Need an idea for a game at your next Christmas party??
Try this.........
Yep......you read right.......Reindeer Poop!
To make this game, you will need to get several different candy bars. Cut them up into small pieces and place them on a plate. Sprinkle powder sugar over the candy just enough to lightly cover it.
Number each candy and have your guest write their answer on a piece of paper.
Here are the ones I did....
Can't figure them out? Need a closer look?
What??? Still don't know???? Let's try something a little easier!
Multiple Choice
Twix Snickers 100 Grand
Hersheys Skittles Crunch
Twix M&Ms Kit Kat
Mars Mounds Reeces
3 Musketeers Heath Almond Joy
Clark Oh Henry Bar Butterfinger
So how did you do?
If you chose the last answer for all of them, you were correct.
If you did not get any right, then I suggest you go out and buy every candy bar. I want you to study them! Inspect, smell and taste each one. Get to know your candy. You never know this game could be at the next party you go to.

Polar Express Pajama Day
As I have mentioned before, I am head of the Theme Day committee at work. I decided for the month of December to make it a Polar Express Pajama Day. We wore our pajamas, watched the movie Polar Express on the big screen and had a hot chocolate buffet.
The Pajamas
I think we should declare everyday pajama day!
The Polar Express Movie
You can't board the Polar Express train without your ticket!
Hot Chocolate Buffet
The options on the buffet were.....
hot chocolate
candy canes
chocolate chips
marshmallows
Not pictured was whipped topping and sprinkles.
All of those together make a yummy cup of hot cocoa!
The kids loved having options and choosing their own!
It was such a fun day!
